GOOG
$530.47 Google, Inc.
Google, Incorporated (GOOG) Discussed on CNBC's Power Lunch Google, Incorporated is in the news. Find out how this impacts GOOG trading on Ockham Research. I think one of the things dennis I know has covered this a lot on the traditional media side. I don't think advertising by and large across the board is bouncing back. GOOGLE's formula is just incredible from the standpoint of targeted advertising, measurability, roi that's positive for advertisers. As the advertisers start to come back, I think the GOOGLE platform is one they really want to embrace quicker as you get that's going to also lead to improved pricing. Keyword pricing and bidding those up was a big part of growth in the heydays. I think that will come back >> jason, you know, GOOGLE stock incredibly volatile, especially in response to earnings. I'm still stung from the moment a year ago or so when I said I think GOOGLE is falling down, maybe time to get out. They came up with a slight upside. Stock roared $90. Would you dare have a client go in and buy GOOGLE stock ahead of the earnings report? >> we think a lot of the good news is baked in. We are comfortable in buying the investors shouldn't assume they're going it make 7% at the when we look at GOOGLE, it is the best montization engine for by our analysis, internet advertising is only about 13% of local advertising. When you think about $15 billion still being spent in yellow pages and classified. There's a lot of low hanging fruit for GOOGLE. >> martin, should an investor buy GOOGLE now in anticipation of the earnings or wait and see if there's a big sell-off and buy it tomorrow morning? >> you know, I would look a little more, especially if there's any kind of sell-off and the numbers are good. I have a 6% growth estimate for I think they'll beat that. I wouldn't be surprised if they post toward double digit. I think there's some expectation “… ability, roi that's positive for advertisers.
