If you pay for a $300 stock and it goes up 30 bucks that's 10%. That's no different than a 30 stock going to 33 dollars. Plus if it's really that big of a deal, they can ask GOOGLE to split -- do a stock split and reduce that share price. I would not use that as an excuse not to include them because what you really want is a cross representation of the american economy. And GOOGLE would give you that. Charles: okay, ups, this seems like a pretty good proxy for the global economy. Why wouldn't the people who are going to make this decision not go with ups? >> I think they should go with

Let's go over the list of you think are the prominent candidates. >> I think the four most prominent candidates will be GOOGLE ups apple and amazon. Apple already have ibm and microsoft at&t and verizon so a lot of apple's business lines are already covered and with only 30 stocks, you are going to want as much diversity as they might argue that ups is more of a transport. But I would argue that there's nothing like ups in the dow. But GOOGLE makes the most sense you are looking at a growing dynamic company. It's very large. And there's nothing like it in the dow. So my first preference if they were asking me which of course they aren't would be GOOGLE followed by ups, apple and then maybe amazon. Charles: but jim, GOOGLE isn't the share price of GOOGLE somewhat of a big problem slipping that 300, 400 dollar stock into the index? >> people need to get past that charles. Of return.

Been watching it very closely. We're waiting to see what may go there's been all kinds of speculation everything from apple to amgen to amazon just to name a few and how about just the obvious replacement which could be FORD. Of course any name that goes into the dow jones industrial average will get scooped up by portfolio managers those who actually track indices, so folks
